Valley Steel Recycling (VSR) is a family-owned metal recycling and processing company headquartered in McAllen, Texas. We specialize in the recovery, upgrading, and commercialization of ferrous and non-ferrous metals through advanced processing technologies and automated material recovery systems. Our ownership group brings decades of experience in the metals recycling, steelmaking, and metal melting industries, providing a deep understanding of both raw material supply and manufacturing requirements.

Our operation combines shredding, magnetic separation, eddy current systems, sensor-based sorting, X-ray technologies, and laser-based alloy identification to recover valuable metals from complex industrial, automotive, and post-consumer scrap streams. These capabilities allow us to produce high-quality secondary raw materials for foundries, smelters, mills, and manufacturers throughout North America.
